2025 Canoeing on the Redwood River

Meet at Perk’s Park on the shores of Lake Redwood in Redwood Falls and take a shuttle bus to County Road 6, where the Redwood River crosses CR 6 and canoe back to the vehicles at Lake Redwood. This event is open for canoes and kayaks. Please bring your canoe, paddles, and life vest if possible. It is recommended that you bring sunscreen, bug repellant, drinking water, and snacks for the trip down and dry clothes for the end of the trip.

2025 Canoeing on the Cottonwood River

Note: Drop off equipment at Iberia Landing on 260th Ave. Also note that a stretch of County 4 is under construction.

Kayaks only at this time - Check back June 16th to see if river levels will allow canoes.

Meet at County Road 10 Landing. Participants may park vehicles/trailers near landing. We will bus participants to Iberia Landing. Picnic style lunch will be provided by RCRCA at County Road 10 landing, bring your own chairs. Please bring your kayak, paddles, and life vest if possible. It is recommended that you bring sunscreen, bug repellant, drinking water, and snacks for the trip down and dry clothes for the end of the trip.
