About the Speakers

Carolyn King

Carolyn is the Director of Operation for Continuum Ag, a soil health data intelligence company that enables farmers to profit from sustainable and regenerative practices. Carolyn grew up on her family’s farm in western Illinois, where sustainability practices are a regular part of the operation. She received her Backers and Masters degrees in Agronomy from Iowa State University.

Brian Ryberg

Brian is from Buffalo Lake, MN. He began farming in 1986 after completing an A.A. degree at the U of M, Waseca. Brian farmed in partnership with this parents for 10 years before they retired. In 2014, Brian and his wife, Sandy, transition to a 100% strip till operation and have now moved some of those acres to minimum tillage as well. They raise corn, soybeans, and suger beets in four counties in southern Minnesota. He is currently on the Board of Directors for SMBSC Sugar beet Co-op and enjoys sharing their success with their conservation practices with others! Brian is also a mentor with the Minnesota Soil Health Coaltion.

Manure and Soil Health Systems Panel

A diversified panel of farmer speakers who deal with a variety of manure types and will focus on how they manage manure and soil health systems together.
