Tillage Transect Survey
Tillage Transect Surveys have been completed in Redwood County since 1994. The purpose of the survey is to gather information on various agricultural practices, primarily tillage and crop residue management systems used in the county. In 1994, a route was developed that provided good representation of the agricultural areas in the county. That same route is used each year the survey is completed.
